One of my hobbies outside of photography is bicycling.  Up until a few days ago, I had an old Trek Antelope.  Yes it was an old bike, and I was bringing it back to life with new road tires (I don’t do much trail riding any more) custom seat, new cables and etc.  I really liked that bike, it fit me (I’m 6’2 and it had a large frame).

I say up until a few days ago because it was stolen from my front porch.  I’m still pretty bummed about it.

So, I set out yesterday to find a new bike.  I ended up with a Schwinn Volare 1200.  Very nice road bike, but no one locally had one in a large frame, so I ended up with a medium frame.  I really do like the bike, but it’s not my old Trek.

I did learn something about myself.  After all these years of having my Trek, I never once took a picture of the bike, only close ups of parts.  Lesson learned.

I just don’t understand people sometimes…
